51% of the town remains without power, down from a high of 94% at the height of the storm and 69% early this morning. Multiple National Grid tree and line crews are working to restore power in town. The Town continues to work with a direct contact at National Grid responsible for the allocation of resources to Tyngsborough. An updated timeframe for restoration will be provided later this afternoon once it is received from National Grid.

Town Hall remains closed due to the power outage. Tax bills due November 1st will be accepted through November 3rd with no interest. Check payments can be made online at www.tyngsboroughma.gov/pay for no charge.
The Council on Aging on Lakeview Avenue is open ans is serving as a warming center until 4:00 pm. The flu clinic scheduled for today, Tuesday, November 2nd at the Council on Aging has been postponed. A new date will be announced once it is determined.
The shelter at Tyngsborough Elementary School on Westford Road remains open. Residents may also visit the shelter to charge mobile devices and access potable water.
Tyngsborough Public Schools are closed today, Tuesday, November 1st.
As a precaution, residents are asked to check the batteries in their smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
Residents are asked to continue to use caution, avoid unnecessary travel, and consider all downed wires to be live. Residents are also reminded to secure their homes and alert neighbors if they will be leaving their homes. Tyngsborough Police are patrolling neighborhoods and will continue to do so until power is restored.
Highway Department crews are removing debris from partially blocked roads today. Cleanup of debris from the sides of roads will continue this week. All roads are passable with the exception of areas where utility crews are working.
